Nacon reported Q1 2021/22 sales of 33.7 million euros, an 11.3% year-over-year decline attributed to the exceptionally high demand during the 2020/21 lockdown period.
Management maintains its 2021/22 financial targets of 180–200 million euros in sales and a 20% operating margin, with growth expected in the second half of the fiscal year.
The video games segment generated 12.2 million euros, a 16% decrease, though back catalogue sales reached 9.2 million euros, nearly four times the 2.4 million euros recorded in Q1 2019/20.
Accessories division sales fell 8.8% to 20.6 million euros, though non-RIG accessory lines grew by 19% due to strong demand for PlayStation 4 and Xbox Pro Compact controllers.
The company projects significant growth for 2022/23, targeting sales between 230 and 260 million euros supported by major titles like The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.
