NC Corporation’s second-quarter 2026 financial results demonstrate significant growth, characterized by a 101% year-over-year revenue increase to KRW 770.5 billion. This performance was primarily driven by the strong market reception of Lineage Classic and the successful integration of the Mobile Casual segment following the consolidation of JustPlay. Operating income reached KRW 173.9 billion, representing a 1,053% year-over-year surge and a 53% increase quarter-over-quarter, resulting in an operating margin of 23%.
The company’s revenue strategy is increasingly diversified, with the North American, European, and international markets now accounting for 27% of total revenue. PC gaming remains a cornerstone of the business, achieving a record quarterly high of KRW 343.8 billion, largely supported by the sustained momentum of Lineage Classic. Simultaneously, the Mobile Casual segment has emerged as a vital growth pillar, contributing KRW 169.7 billion to the quarterly total. This segment utilizes a proprietary growth intelligence platform that integrates data analytics, rewarded traffic hubs, and specialized studios to optimize user lifetime value and capital efficiency.
Operating expenses rose to KRW 596.6 billion, a 34% increase from the previous quarter, reflecting higher labor costs and aggressive marketing investments. Marketing expenditures for the Mobile Casual segment reached KRW 132.0 billion, while existing business marketing spend totaled KRW 31.1 billion. Despite these increased costs, the company maintained profitability, reporting a net income of KRW 131.1 billion. These unaudited results, prepared under K-IFRS, reflect the consolidated performance of NC Corporation’s global subsidiaries across South Korea, the United States, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore, underscoring a strategic pivot toward a more balanced, multi-genre, and geographically diverse revenue model.
