CyberAgent reported significant growth for Q3 FY2021, with net sales rising 36.1% YoY to ¥486.7 billion and operating income surging 171.9% YoY to ¥77.5 billion.
The Game Business was a primary profit driver, achieving ¥186.3 billion in net sales (up 59.5% YoY) and a 196.4% increase in operating income to ¥68.6 billion.
The Internet Advertisement Business reached record net sales of ¥239.1 billion, representing a 17% YoY increase and contributing ¥18.1 billion in operating income.
Profit attributable to shareholders of the parent rose 462.1% to ¥33.0 billion, resulting in basic earnings per share of ¥65.46 following a four-for-one stock split.
The Media Business, driven by ABEMA investments, generated ¥60.2 billion in net sales (up 52.6% YoY) while narrowing its operating loss to ¥11.2 billion from ¥13.3 billion the previous year.
Reflecting strong performance, the company revised its full-year earnings forecast upward and increased the FY2021 dividend to ¥11.00 per share, targeting a payout ratio of at least 5%.
