The company’s global registered user base reached 189.2 million by December 2011, with international users accounting for 84.7% of the total.
Driven by strong performance in smartphone services and paid content, GREE upwardly revised its full-year 2012 net sales forecast to a range of 160 to 170 billion yen.
Paid service sales served as the primary revenue driver, growing 39.2% on a quarter-over-quarter basis.
GREE is preparing to launch a unified global platform in Q4 2012, supported by content partnerships with major developers including Capcom, Konami, and Square Enix.
To support its international expansion, the company established nine global offices and formed strategic capital alliances, such as the partnership with South Korea's Mobicle.
