User Interface Usability of Mamat Adventure: The Study of Usability User Interface of Mamat Adventure Edugame Based on Heuristic Evaluation

This analysis evaluates the user interface (UI) usability of Mamat Adventure, a web-based educational game developed by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to teach scouting concepts to elementary school students.

• Mamat Adventure lacks critical navigation features such as pause, exit, and return-to-previous-page buttons, forcing users to restart the game entirely if they encounter errors.
• The absence of progress-saving functionality significantly hinders the user experience, as players cannot resume gameplay or replay specific levels without starting over.
• The game fails to provide a dedicated help or troubleshooting menu, leaving elementary school students without support when they face difficulties during gameplay.
