PlayWay S.A. restructured its subsidiary Fishing Games Sp. z o.o. on February 3, 2017, increasing its share capital from 33,000 PLN to 100,000 PLN.
Following a 67,000 PLN cash capital injection, PlayWay S.A. maintains an 80% controlling stake in the entity, with partners Jakub Trzebiński and Mateusz Zawadzki holding 18% and 2% respectively.
The subsidiary was rebranded as Ultimate Games Sp. z o.o. to focus on the development of fishing and hunting simulator titles.
The newly injected capital is specifically earmarked for the completion of the production for the game title Ultimate Fishing.
This restructuring formalizes the creation of a specialized studio within the PlayWay ecosystem to manage specific intellectual properties and genre-focused development pipelines.
