Updated Mar 17, 2026 by PCF Group
PCF Group S.A. has suspended the AAA release schedule for Project Dagger, originally planned for the 2025–2026 window.
The majority of the Project Dagger development staff is being reallocated to three other internal projects: Maverick, Bifrost, and Victoria.
A core team of approximately ten members will remain on Project Dagger to redefine its development direction and create a new pre-production version based on external feedback.
Project Dagger will continue under a self-publishing model funded internally by PCF Group S.A.
The company evaluated multiple strategic scenarios for Project Dagger, including discussions with Square Enix Limited, the publisher of the separate Project Gemini.
This disclosure serves as a formal correction to a previous filing that mistakenly identified Project Gemini rather than Project Dagger as the subject of the development scope limitation.
