PlayWay S.A. led a capital increase for Warsaw-based developer Movie Games S.A. by investing 836,364 zł as part of a total 1,718,182 zł funding round.
The post-investment ownership structure of Movie Games S.A. is 46% held by PlayWay S.A., 44% by Income Capital Sp. z o.o., and 5% each by individual investors Aleks Uchański and Jakub Trzebiński.
Income Capital Sp. z o.o. contributed 700,000 zł to the capital increase, while individual investors Aleks Uchański and Jakub Trzebiński each contributed 90,909 zł.
The primary objective of the capital infusion is to fund the development of a PC video game currently titled "Dywizjon 303."
The investment agreement was formally executed and disclosed on 25 January 2017 under the legal requirements of Article 17(1) of the Market Abuse Regulation.
