Ludwik Sobolewski was appointed to the PlayWay S.A. Supervisory Board on January 12, 2022, filling the vacancy left by Michał Kojecki’s resignation in late 2021.
Sobolewski’s appointment is currently effective via board co-option and awaits final ratification at the next General Meeting of Shareholders.
The appointee brings extensive capital market experience, having served as President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (2006–2013) and CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (2013–2017).
Sobolewski currently holds board positions at other gaming-related entities, specifically Games Box S.A. and EduGames S.A.
The appointment meets the independence criteria set by the Best Practice for GPW Listed Companies 2021 and complies with all Polish regulatory requirements regarding non-competitive activity and financial standing.
