PlayWay S.A. acquired a 79% majority stake in the Kraków-based developer Pentacle Sp. z o.o. through a capital restructuring agreement finalized on January 10, 2017.
PlayWay invested 237,000 zł in cash to secure its majority ownership position in Pentacle.
The capital injection is specifically earmarked to fund the completion of the video game title 'The Works of Mercy'.
Following the transaction, the remaining ownership of Pentacle is distributed between two individual partners, with 20% held by Partner 1 and 1% held by Partner 2.
